    2. How can I avail the wellness services under Tata AIA Health Buddy? Step 1: Download Tata AIA Life Insurance App on your device. Step 2: Install and Sign-up. Step 3: Log in to access your account. Step 4: Avail services by clicking on the Health Buddy card.
    3. What are the variants for Tata AIA Health Buddy wellness benefits and their respective benefits? Tata AIA Health Buddy offers wellness benefits that have been branded under multiple variants such as Health Buddy Classic, Health Buddy Elevate, Health Buddy Enhance and Health Buddy Activ. To know which variant the policy owner is eligible for, and their respective benefits, please refer to cover letter in the BI of your policy kit.
    4. What is the eligibility criteria for access to Tata AIA Health Buddy wellness benefits?
      1. You should have a policy which is eligible for this benefit. (Refer to cover letter in the BI)
      2. Policy needs to be active.
    5. Will Tata AIA Health Buddy wellness benefits be complimentary or I have to pay extra? Health Buddy Classic and Health Buddy Activ - complimentary. Health Buddy Elevate & Health Buddy Enhance - available for a nominal premium which is already part of Tata AIA Health Buddy benefits premium.

      Health Buddy Elevate - If the network provider is not available within a defined range of 5 kms from your location, only then reimbursement will be allowed. Applicable amount will be added in the respective wallet.
      Health Buddy Enhance – Both cashless and reimbursement. In case of reimbursement, applicable amount will be added in the respective wallet.
    13. Number of usages allowed for each wellness benefit under different variants. Details are available on Tata AIA Life Insurance app à Health Buddy section.

      Health Buddy Enhance & Health Buddy Elevate - depending on the type of enrolment done for each member of the policy, the benefits will be available either on shared or individual basis.
    19. Does the Health Buddy Enhance variant include benefits for self, spouse, children, and parents by default or the Life Assured (LA) has to choose the beneficiaries? Life Assured can choose for whom he/she wants the Health Buddy Enhance benefits and accordingly the premium will be charged. The starter pack is of 2A means 2 lives (with/without Life Assured).
    20. How many members are eligible for Health Buddy Enhance benefit? Two (2A is the starter pack - 2A means 2 lives: with/without Life Assured).

    24. Are the service provider’s doctors qualified to conduct teleconsultations?
      1. Service Provider follows a strict verification process for all the doctors providing online consultation services.
      2. All the doctors are well qualified as per the Medical Council of India guidelines.
      3. Documents related to degree along with medical council registration certificates are thoroughly verified and the soft copy is stored in their repository.
    25. What will be the role of Tata AIA Life Insurance once a customer engages with service provider? Once you are engaged with the service provider, Tata AIA Life Insurance is not involved in any teleconsultation services or other related services availed by you pursuant to tele- consultation service. Service Provider will only inform Tata AIA Life Insurance about the customers who have opted for the services with them.
    26. I availed wellness benefits under Tata AIA Health Buddy with service provider, and now I am applying for new or increased cover with Tata AIA Life Insurance. Do I need to tell Tata AIA Life Insurance about it? In accordance with your duty of disclosure, you are obligated to disclose any of this information to the extent it may be relevant in the event of any future application for insurance (including any increased or varied cover) or changes to existing insurance contract.
    27. Will Tata AIA Life Insurance cover the costs of the recommended treatment? No, this will be up to you to cover if you wish to go forward with the treatment.
    28. If the medical recommendation goes wrong, who will be responsible and assume liability? Tata AIA Life Insurance does not take any responsibility or liability for the medical recommendation of service provider.
    29. Does Tata AIA Life Insurance require that I use wellness benefits under Tata AIA Health Buddy? No, it is absolutely your choice whether you wish to avail these services.
    30. Will Tata AIA Life Insurance have access to the medical information resulting from me availing wellness benefits under Tata AIA Health Buddy? Service provider will provide Tata AIA Life Insurance with information about the services provided to eligible customers. This is the information that Tata AIA Life Insurance requires to administer the agreement between Tata AIA Life Insurance and service provider. Service Provider will share the medical details with Tata AIA Life Insurance for the purpose of updating medical history, quality control, audit purposes and administration of the insurance policy, or any other matter relating to the insurance policy under which the person is insured.
    31. Who will have access to my medical information? Service provider will share your medical information with:
      • The relevant specialists (with whom service provider has Confidentiality agreement) in their network, as required. Service provider will request your consent to do this before you engage for this service.
      • Tata AIA Life Insurance for the purpose of updating medical history, quality control, audit purposes and administration of the insurance policy, or any other matter relating to the insurance policy under which the person is insured.
      • Its network of doctors with your consent.
    32. How many days will it take to credit the reimbursement amount in my wallet? The amount will be credited within 15 days post receipt of all relevant and valid documents.
    33. Where can I check Health Buddy Elevate and Health Buddy Enhance network? You can check Health Buddy Elevate and Health Buddy Enhance network on - Tata AIA Life Insurance app > Tata AIA Health Buddy > respective benefit section
    34. Where can I submit my documents for Health Buddy Elevate and Health Buddy Enhance reimbursement claim? You can submit on Tata AIA Life Insurance app > Health Buddy Enhance / Elevate > Tap on Claim Reimbursement on Homepage > Tap on “Claim Now” on the service card > Choose Upload documents & details and click on Submit.
      The claim should be submitted for reimbursement within the same policy year.
    35. Will these benefits get carried forward in next year in case of no claim? No, these benefits will not be carried forward in the next year. The counter for these consultations will restart every subsequent year.
    36. If the wallet balance remains unused, will that be added to the wallet balance of the next policy year? Health Buddy Enhance - Wallet balance (if any) will be valid for usage till one year only or until next policy year.
      Health Buddy Elevate - It gets carried forward.
    37. Is there a separate Ecard for Tata AIA Health Buddy wellness benefits? There is no Ecard. You can simply download Tata AIA Life Insurance app and start using the benefits.
    38. Is Root Canal Treatment or any other dental procedure like tooth extraction or teeth whitening also included under the dental wellness check-up? Dental treatments are not covered. Only In-Person consultation with Dentist (including Orthodontist) is covered.
    39. Are pregnancy consultations also covered under Health Buddy Enhance? Yes, up to the limit of 4 online consultations per month and 4 OPD in-clinic consultations per year. In addition, 2 in-person consultations per year with Gynecologist is also available.
    40. Is pregnancy check-up covered under the 2 in-person Women Care consultations? Check-ups/Procedures will not be covered under woman care. In-Person Gynaecologist consultations for any Women health-related issues/conditions including Pregnancy, Infertility, Menopause will be covered.
    41. Are the 2 in-person consultations under the Women Care part of the 4 OPD in-clinic consultations or that can be availed in addition? No. They are in addition to the 4 OPD in-clinic consultations.
    42. Can wallet balance be utilized only on Tata AIA Life Insurance app and at the network hospitals? Yes
    43. Can the wallet amount for one benefit be utilized for other benefits? No
    44. Can the appointment be fixed only through the Tata AIA Life Insurance app? Yes
    45. Can the wallet feature be accessed only through the Tata AIA Life Insurance app? Yes
    46. Can I have multiple variants for Tata AIA Health Buddy wellness benefits? If you buy multiple products containing different variants, then you shall be eligible for the respective variant under those products.
    47. What is perceived value? If the actual cost of medical cost goes beyond the value mentioned, will customer get the claim. Example:  Enhance Health Check-up perceived value is Rs.5000. If he gets the medical check-up done for Rs. 7000:
      1. Will he get the reimbursement for Rs. 5000?
      2. Can he claim the total reimbursement within 1 year with multiple health checkup? For example, Bill of Rs 2000 + Rs 1000 + Rs 1000
      Health checkup is not on reimbursement basis. Benefits shall be available as per the program construct and not as per perceived values (which is for solicitation purpose only).
    48. Can Health Buddy wellness benefits be claimed for Lifetime (that is beyond the policy term)? As TATA AIA Health Buddy policy terminates, the benefits offered under the same also terminates.Load Less

Availing this feature grants permission to service providers to contact the customer about these Health Management Services. These services shall be subject to the availability of the Service Provider.
