Rakshakarta in Steering Excellence (RISE) is our structured management trainee program, designed to hire and nurture fresh talent from premier management institutes to create a future leadership pipeline for Tata AIA Life Insurance.

We have the best-in-class on-boarding experience, aptly titled “Swagatam”. Our practice of employee on-boarding is a key differentiator of our Employee Value Proposition, aimed at creating belongingness, and to retain talent for the organization to support the organizational vision.
Post “Swagatam”, management trainees go through 15 days of classroom training on products, various business models, meeting senior leaders, and briefings from the respective Centre of Excellence and Tata veterans to inculcate the Tata culture . They are guided by our ExCo members and supported by the Master Mentor, Sales & Support mentors throughout their 1st year journey with Tata AIA Life Insurance , followed by the graduation ceremony.
These management trainees undergo a year-long, on-the-job exposure in Sales, Support and Strategic projects, mentored and guided by the Senior Management and ExCo. This involves a three-step process.
Our management trainee program focuses on creating a future leadership pipeline for Tata AIA Life Insurance. Through this program, we provide our management trainees with added benefits, which are specified below.
You get a year to learn various aspects of business through the on-the-job training, and by doing special cross functional projects
Get guidance and mentorship from senior leadership, and Exco members of the organization during the tenure of the program
You get the opportunity to work with the bank partners, reach out to customers, and understand ground reality by working with the sales force, which gives an in-depth understanding of various aspects of business, and enables the trainees to come out with innovative solutions.
Become a buddy for the future batches of ‘RISE’, which will help foster the mentor within you
After completing the one year management trainee program, our RISE[1] get promoted to the next level
