The vendor/service provider shall not give any gifts or cash or cash equivalents, including but limited to, gift certificates, cheques, travellers cheques or money orders, financial securities or entertainment or payment of any kind to any of TALIC’s employees or associates.
TALIC employees shall neither accept nor present a gift or entertainment (including, but not limited to, beverages, recreation, lodging, transportation and tickets) for the purpose of improperly influencing good business judgment in any business dealing or transaction involving Tata AIA Life Insurance Company Ltd. or any business or enterprise associated with Tata AIA Life Insurance Company Ltd.
The vendor/service provider and/or Tata AIA Life Insurance Company Ltd. and its employees shall neither receive, nor offer or make directly or indirectly, any illegal payments, remuneration, gifts, donations or comparable benefits that are intended, or perceived to be intended, to obtain uncompetitive favors for the conduct of its business. Both parties shall cooperate with government authorities in efforts to eliminate any and all forms of bribery, fraud and corruption.
The vendors/service providers are our business partners who serve as extensions of Tata AIA Life Insurance Company Ltd. When working on behalf of Tata AIA Life Insurance Company Ltd., business partners are expected to adhere to this code of conduct, and to any applicable contractual provisions/agreements.
The vendor/service provider shall ensure that the employees of TALIC are treated with respect, dignity, and in accordance with the Tata AIA Life Insurance Company Ltd.’s policy of keeping the work environment free of all forms of harassment - be it physical, verbal or psychological.
We do not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, caste, religion, ancestry, gender, origin, age, nationality, disability, history of military service, marital status or sexual orientation in our workplace, or in the course of conducting our business. All business decisions shall be considered solely on merit, without weighing any characteristic/trait protected by the applicable law. Finally, the vendor/service provider shall respect others’ values and opinions and shall not treat them in a harassing or threatening manner.
Tata AIA Life Insurance Company Ltd. is committed to meeting its responsibilities to help prevent money laundering and terrorist financing. The scope of these responsibilities generally extends to reporting any suspicious or unusual activity that is inconsistent with the applicable laws. Vendors/service providers too, are required to abide by anti-money laundering requirements.
