Tata AIA Life Insurance Accidental Death and Dismemberment (Long Scale) (ADDL) Linked Rider is an optional unit deducting rider, which provides a convenient solution that helps fill the financial gap for your family, in the event of an unfortunate death of the Life insured due to an accident. Furthermore, if the life insured suffers dismemberment or loss of bodily functions or burns due to an accident, this rider ensures that your family receives a percentage of the rider sum assured based on the extent of disability or severity of the burns.

This term insurance rider protects your family by paying them a lump sum amount in case of an accidental death.
The benefits are doubled in case of certain accidental deaths or dismemberments (details in the brochure).
In case of disability/dismemberment/burns due to an accident, this term insurance rider ensures that your family receives a percentage of the Rider Sum Assured (as mentioned in the brochure).
Premiums paid under this rider are eligible for tax benefits under Section 80D of the Income Tax Act.
